OPTION 1: GET TIN ONLINE (FASTEST METHOD)
Step 1: Go to the official TIN registration portal
Visit the Joint Tax Board (JTB) TIN portal:
https://tin.jtb.gov.ng
Step 2: Choose “Individual TIN Registration”
Select “Register for TIN (Individual)”
Step 3: Fill in your personal details
You will be required to enter:
Full name (as on BVN/NIN)
Date of birth
Phone number
Email address (if available)
Residential address
State of origin/residence
Step 4: Enter your BVN or NIN
Your BVN is very important (especially for civil servants)
It helps auto-generate your tax record
Step 5: Submit the form
Click Submit
The system will validate your details with your bank records
