YES, it is very possible. ₦100 x 1,000 people = ₦100,000 per day = ₦3 Million per month. The secret is not to collect ₦100 for free. YES, it is very possible. ₦100 x 1,000 people = ₦100,000 per day = ₦3 Million per month.

The secret is not to collect ₦100 for free. You must solve a small daily problem that 1,000 people will happily pay ₦100 for.

Rich men look for 1 customer to pay ₦100,000. Smart business looks for 1,000 customers to pay ₦100. The second one is easier in Nigeria.

Here are 5 REAL ways people are already doing it in Nigeria:
    1. DATA / AIRTIME RESELLING – The easiest
Buy data in bulk at ₦250 per 1GB and sell at ₦350. Your profit is ₦100 per GB.
If 1,000 students buy from you daily via WhatsApp bot or USSD, you make ₦100,000 profit daily. Use platforms like DataSub, http://VTU.ng, Moniepoint VTU.

    2. DAILY PAID COMMUNITY / CONTENT – No shop needed
Create a WhatsApp/Telegram private group where you post daily:
    – Football sure odds / predictions
    – JAMB / WAEC daily questions
    – Daily importation tips
Charge ₦100 daily or ₦2,500 monthly subscription. People pay via Opay/PalmPay. 1,000 members = ₦100k daily.

    3. SMALL CONSUMABLE IN HIGH TRAFFIC
    – Pure water in traffic: Buy at ₦15, sell at ₦30 = ₦15 profit. You need to sell 6,700 sachets to make ₦100k, so you need 2-3 boys. This is hard work.
    – BETTER: Zobo, small puff-puff, boiled groundnut in a school or market. If your margin is ₦100 per bottle, 1,000 customers is possible in UNILORIN or Bodija market.

    4. SERVICE CHARGE MODEL
If you have POS in a busy area: Charge ₦100 on 1,000 withdrawals daily = ₦100k. This is what many POS owners in Lagos/Ibadan do. You need a good location like market or student area.

    5. DIGITAL MICRO-SERVICE
    Build a simple service:
    – Daily CV review for ₦100
    – Daily logo watermark removal
    – Daily WhatsApp status design
Automate with Flutterwave payment link. Post on TikTok. With 10k followers, getting 1,000 people to pay ₦100 is easy.

How to go about it – 3 Steps:

Step 1: Pick ONE small pain. Don’t sell everything. Example: “Students need cheap data by 6am before class.”

Step 2: Build trust and payment system. Use WhatsApp Business + Moniepoint/Opay. Let people pay and get value instantly. No story.

Step 3: Multiply. You cannot meet 1,000 people alone. Use WhatsApp broadcast, referrals (give ₦20 to anyone who brings customer), and automation. Start with 100 people x ₦100 = ₦10k per day, then scale to 1,000.

The hardest part is not the ₦100, it’s getting the 1,000 people to trust you. Start today with 100 customers.

What Is AER and How Is It Used to Compare Investment Returns in Nigeria?

First and Foremost, Investing in Nigeria is not just about buying shares, it’s about understanding the system that keeps your money safe. Let me break it down:

The full meaning of AER – Annual Equivalent Rate
What it is ? AER is The real interest you earn in a year when compounding is included.
For Example: If an app says “10% per month” — that’s not 120% per year. AER shows you the true yearly return. Formula: `AER = (1 + r/n)^n – 1`
Use in Nigeria: Banks, PiggyVest, Treasury Bills, and NGX apps use AER to compare. If PiggyVest offers 12% AER and a stock offers 18% AER, the stock gave higher return — but with higher risk.
How to utilize: Always ask for AER before investing. Don’t compare monthly rate with yearly rate. Compare AER to AER.

    2. Now what is Portfolio
What it is ? Portfolio is Your collection of all investments. Like a bag containing your Dangote Cement shares, MTN shares, and your mutual funds.
Use: It shows you total gain/loss. If one stock falls, your other stock can balance it.
How to utilize: Don’t put all money in one stock. Build a portfolio of 5-10 good companies from different sectors – Banking, Telecoms, Industrial.

    3. Watchlist
What it is ? Watchlist is A list of stocks you are watching but have not bought yet. Like window shopping.
Use: You add GTCO, BUA Cement, Seplat to watchlist and monitor their price for weeks before you decide to buy.
How to utilize: Before buying any stock in Nigeria, put it on watchlist for 2-4 weeks. Watch its movement, news, and results.

    4. CSCS means- Central Securities Clearing System
What it is ? CSCS- This is the central bank for shares in Nigeria. When you buy shares on NGX, you don’t get paper certificate — CSCS holds it electronically for you. Licensed by SEC.
Use: It protects you from fraud. Even if your broker’s app crashes, your shares are still safe in CSCS under your name.
How to utilize: After you buy, you should get a CSCS statement. Always verify your shares are in CSCS.

    5. CHN means- Clearing House Number*
What it is ? CHN IS Your personal ID number in CSCS. It’s like your BVN for stock market. One person, one CHN forever.
    Example: CHN: 12345678
Use: Without CHN you cannot trade on NGX. It links all your shares across all brokers to you.
How to utilize: When you register on Bamboo, Chaka, Trove, Meritrade etc., they will create a CHN for you if you don’t have one. Keep your CHN safe.

Finally: Does the app serve as your broker?

Yes and No, let me simplify:-

The app on your phone (Bamboo, Chaka, InvestNow) is NOT the broker. The app is a platform that partners with a SEC-licensed broker.

For example: Bamboo uses Lambeth Securities, Trove uses Sigma Securities. The licensed broker is the one who actually goes to NGX to buy for you.

    How to consult before investing:
    1. In-app research: Most apps have “Analyst Reports” or “Company Info” — read it.
    2. Chat support: Ask their customer care – “What is the fundamental of this stock?”
    3. Don’t rely only on app for advice: For big money, talk to a licensed stockbroker Physically and directly.
