Yes. If you still have the old CSCS number/CHN, retrieving your account details is usually much easier in Nigeria.
Your CSCS number is often called your CHN (Clearing House Number). Even if you registered many years ago, the account normally still exists unless it was never fully activated.
Here are the practical ways to retrieve or reactivate your details:
Contact the stockbroker that opened the account for you
Most CSCS accounts are tied to a stockbroking firm. If you remember the broker:
    Give them your:
    Full name
    Phone number
    Old email
    CSCS/CHN number
    Ask them to:
    retrieve your CSCS details,
    confirm your holdings,
and update your KYC if necessary.
    Use the CSCS online portal
You can try registering/login with your CHN here:
    portal.cscs.ng
You may also need the online subscription/access registration:
    cscs.ng
If your old phone number or email no longer works, the system may ask for an update through your broker.
    Visit a CSCS office physically
If you no longer remember the broker or login details, CSCS says investors can visit their office with a valid ID for a global search of their investments.
    Main office:
    Central Securities Clearing System Plc
    Take along:
    National ID / Voter’s Card / Driver’s License / International Passport
    Your CSCS number (very important)
    Old share certificates if available
Phone number linked to the account
    BVN (recommended)
Update your records if the account is old
    Many old CSCS accounts require:
    BVN update
    email/phone update
    e-dividend registration
This is common for accounts opened years ago.
If you receive dividends but cannot access the account
That means the account is still active. Your broker or registrar can usually trace it using:
    CHN/CSCS number
    full name
    bank account used for dividends
You can also check for unclaimed dividends through the Nigerian SEC process.
