But there are major factors you’d have to consider before getting the loan.

IF YOU CAN ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS CORRECTLY
    1. Do you have real life experience of the business?
    2. If yes, is the experience enough?
    3. Is the business sustainable?
    4. What’s the turnaround value of the business per month?

Then you can get a loan.
But if you’re unable to think deeply and provide answers, I won’t advise you going for loan yet until you get to learn the business.

Do not venture into it because you see or hear people talking about how profitable it is. Study it. Learn it.

    I come in peace!!!

Once upon a time in a small village in Nigeria, there was a young man named Emeka who had a dream of starting his own business but had not yet found a job. Emeka knew that he needed money to bring his business idea to life, so he wondered if borrowing money could help him start his business.

Now, borrowing money to start a business is a common practice, just like when Mama Ngozi in the village borrows vegetables from her neighbor to sell in the market and promises to pay back when she makes a profit. In the same way, when you borrow money to start a business, you are taking a loan with a promise to repay it later from the profits you make.

Before borrowing money, Emeka should consider a few things. Firstly, he should have a clear business plan outlining how he intends to use the borrowed funds and how he plans to make a profit to repay the loan. It’s important to have a solid plan to increase the chances of success. Emeka should also consider the interest rates and terms of the loan to ensure he can comfortably repay the borrowed amount without putting too much financial strain on his business.

When it comes to borrowing money, there are different options available to Emeka. He can approach banks, microfinance institutions, or even family and friends for loans. Each option comes with its own terms and conditions, so it’s essential to compare and choose the one that best suits his needs.

While borrowing money can provide the initial capital needed to start a business, Emeka must also be aware of the risks involved. Taking on debt means he will have to repay the borrowed amount even if the business does not perform as expected. It’s crucial for Emeka to have a backup plan in case things do not go as planned to avoid falling into financial difficulties.

In conclusion, borrowing money to start a business can be a viable option for someone like Emeka who has a business idea but lacks the necessary funds. By carefully planning, understanding the terms of the loan, and being prepared for the risks involved, Emeka can take the first step towards turning his business dream into a reality. Remember, just like Mama Ngozi in the village, sometimes a little help can go a long way in growing a successful business.

You can borrow money, but your best bet is from family and friends. Before you can get loans from micro finance bank…you must have a cash flow to show your business health, and a collateral as well.

For startups I recommend savings instead of a loan, and this is because the market is volatile. And the success of your business is dependent on a lot of factors. A market can be productive but individual effort differs.

Test run your business, check your financials that it’s in positive numbers…then scale with a loan.
