    Now, what is Blockchain? Imagine it as a special electronic notebook, where each page contains information about transactions (buying, selling, or transferring items like Mama Ngozi’s tomatoes). This notebook is not owned by one person but shared among many people in the village.

    How does Blockchain work in Nigeria? Let’s say Mr. Emeka wants to send money to Aisha using a bank. Normally, we depend on the bank to confirm the transaction. But with Blockchain, once the transaction is recorded in the electronic notebook, it is visible to everyone, and no one can change it. This makes it secure and reduces the need to trust one central authority, like our village chief or a big bank.

    In Nigeria, Blockchain can be used beyond financial transactions. For example, in agriculture, Blockchain can help track the journey of goods from the farm to the market, ensuring transparency and trust. Just like Mama Ngozi uses her special notebook to track her tomato sales accurately.
