To open a CSCS account for a minor in Nigeria, you cannot go directly to cscs.ng yourself. The account must be opened through a licensed stockbroker
For a child, the account is usually opened as a Minor/Trust Account, managed by the parent or guardian until the child becomes an adult.
    Here is the normal process:
Open a stockbroking account for the child through a broker such as:
    stanbicibtcstockbrokers.com
    meristemng.com
    investnaija.ng
    cardinalstone.com
The broker then creates the CSCS account and generates the child’s:
    CSCS account number
    CHN (Clearing House Number)
Typical documents usually required for a minor include:
    Child’s birth certificate
    Passport photograph of child
    Parent/guardian valid ID
    Parent/guardian BVN
Parent/guardian utility bill or address proof
    Parent/guardian passport photograph
Minor’s bank account details (or trust account details)
Signed guardian indemnity/trust form from the broker
    Some brokers may also request:
    NIN slip for the child
    Guardian consent letter
CSCS itself confirms that minors can be registered.
A practical structure many parents use is:
Open a savings account for the child first at a bank
Then use that bank account details when opening the brokerage/CSCS profile
Examples of child accounts offered by banks include:
United Bank for Africa “Teens Account”
    Standard Chartered “My Dream Account”
If you already use a broker like InvestNaija or Stanbic IBTC, it is easier to contact their support and request:
“Minor stock trading account opening requirements.”
They will send the exact forms and KYC requirements.
    One important thing:
The shares belong to the child.
But the parent/guardian controls transactions until the child reaches legal age.
You can also later register the child for CSCS online portfolio viewing through: cscs.ng
