No, ₦5,000 is slightly below the minimum subscription requirement for the Dangote Petroleum Refinery IPO, but you only need ₦250 more to participate.Key IPO Details & Minimum PurchaseOffer Price: ₦525 per shareMinimum Subscription Lot: 10 sharesMinimum Amount Required: ₦5,250 ($10 \text{ shares} \times ₦525$)Incremental Shares: After the first 10 shares, subscriptions must be made in multiples of 10 shares (e.g., 20 shares = ₦10,500; 30 shares = ₦15,750).With ₦5,000, you would mathematically get 9 shares ($₦5,000 / ₦525 = 9.52$), but public offer rules require buying full lots of 10 shares. Adding ₦250 to your funds will allow you to buy exactly 10 shares.Which Banks and Channels Can You Use to Subscribe? You do not necessarily need to visit a physical bank branch to subscribe, as digital application channels are available. However, several receiving banks and brokers are processing applications:

    1. Receiving Banks (Physical Branches)

    UBA (United Bank for Africa)

    Jaiz Bank

    2. Digital & Mobile Channels (Fastest Route)
NGX Invest Portal / App: The official e-offering portal provided by the Nigerian Exchange (NGX).

Licensed Stockbroking / Fintech Platforms: Applications like Afrinvestor 2.0, Cowrywise, and Flutterwave allow you to apply digitally using your CHN (Clearing House Number) and CSCS account.

    What You Need to Subscribe
    – CSCS Account Number & CHN: If you do not have a CSCS (Central Securities Clearing System) account, the digital platforms (or receiving bank) will create one for you during the registration process.

    – Bank Verification Number (BVN) / NIN: For identity verification.

Funding: ₦5,250 (plus any nominal processing/CSCS network fees).

The offer Price for Dangote refinery is ₦525 per share so when divide #5000 by it that tells you the number of shares you can buy. If you have Investnaija, Bamboo and other investing app then you can easily buy and monitor the stock from there. You don't need to go to any bank to buy stock.
