Yes — you can still receive your MTN dividend even if you did not fill the e-mandate, but there is an important condition.

    Let me explain clearly:

    1. If You Bought MTN Shares on Bamboo

If you bought Nigerian stocks like MTN on Bamboo:

Dividends are paid directly to your bank account linked to your investment profile.

    Invest Bamboo FAQ

You don’t always need to manually fill e-mandate if Bamboo already captured your bank details.

So: ✔ You can still receive dividend

✔ But ensure your bank details are correct

    2. What Happens If You Don’t Fill e-Dividend Mandate

    If e-mandate is not completed:

The company may still pay dividend

But it may go to unclaimed dividend account instead of your bank

This is one of the most common reasons investors don’t receive dividends in Nigeria

    BANKIBUSINESS

    That means:

    Your dividend is not lost

It is just waiting to be claimed

    3. My Recommendation (Very Important)

    To avoid problems later:

    ✔ Complete your e-mandate

    ✔ Link your bank account

    ✔ Confirm your CSCS/CHN details

    This prevents:

    Missing dividends

    Delayed payments

    Unclaimed dividend issues

My Honest Advice (Based on Your Situation)

Since you’re investing in MTN long-term, it’s better to fill e-mandate now so future dividends come automatically.
