    • With most shares
    • Or linked to your main broker

👉 CHN consolidation or account merge

    • All CHN numbers
    • Valid ID
    • Signature, etc

    4. Fill Required Forms

Your broker will guide you to complete:

    • Transfer or merge forms

How To Merge Your CHN (Step-by-Step)

Step 1 — Decide Your Primary CHN

Choose the CHN you want to keep (usually):

    The one with most shares

The one linked to your main broker

Step 2 — Contact One Broker (Recommended: Afrinvest)

    Contact Afrinvest support and request:

“CHN Consolidation / CSCS Account Merge”

    They will ask for:

    All your CHN numbers

    Valid ID

    Signature

    CSCS account details

Step 3 — Fill CHN Consolidation Form

    Your broker will give you:

    CSCS Transfer Form

    or

    CHN Merge Form

Step 4 — CSCS Will Merge Them

    After submission:

Your shares move into one CHN

    Other CHNs get deactivated

    Important Things To Know

    Benefits of One CHN

    ✔ Easier dividend tracking

    ✔ Easier portfolio management

    ✔ Less confusion

    ✔ Easier transfer between brokers

    Possible Small Charges

    Some brokers may charge:

    ₦1,000 — ₦5,000 (not always)

    My Recommendation For You

    Since you use:

    Afrinvest

    Bamboo

    InvestNaija

    I recommend:

    Use Afrinvest CHN as primary

    Merge others into Afrinvest

    Because Afrinvest:

    Has stronger CSCS integration

    Better for Nigerian stocks

    Alternative Option (Direct CSCS Route)

    You can also contact:

    Central Securities Clearing System directly:

    Email: info@cscsnigerialtd.com

But going through your broker is easier.

This is actually a very smart move you’re making — many investors forget this and later struggle with:

    Missing dividends

    Lost shares

    Multiple records
