How Does Paystack Top-Up Work on InvestNaija for New Investors?

In the Invest Niger app, you’ll see
Your portfolio (Generate statement and view breakdown)

If you swipe, you’ll see
Wallet balance (top up/withdraw)

If I clicked Top up, I’ll see
Payment partners, then paystack, then Pay with card or Pay via transfer.

Question?
Why will the amount that appeared more than what I intend to send?

If I pay with Paystack, what’s the next thing to do, please.?

Where will the money appeared, is it on
Your portfolio?
Wallet balance?
Or where?

If I eventually see the money,
What’s next to do to buy the Dangote Refinery IPO?

Just a newbie, as I haven’t done this before and need total guidance.

Thank you always.

Oh great! Let’s break down the process of topping up in the Invest Niger app, just like when Mama Ngozi goes to the market to get fresh tomatoes.

So, when you open the Invest Niger app, you’ll first see your portfolio, which is like knowing how many tomatoes you have in your basket. Then, if you swipe, you’ll come across your wallet balance. This is where you can add more money (top up) or take money out (withdraw), similar to adding more money to buy more tomatoes or taking out money when you already have enough.

Now, let’s say you clicked on “Top up.” You’ll see payment partners like Paystack, and then you’ll be asked to choose whether to pay with a card or via transfer. It’s like deciding whether to pay for the tomatoes with cash or transfer money on your phone.

But why does the amount shown sometimes seem more than what you planned to send? Well, just like when the market woman might add a few extra tomatoes, sometimes there may be additional charges or fees included in the total amount.

If you decide to pay with Paystack, the next thing to do is to follow the instructions to complete the payment successfully. It’s like handing over the money to the market woman after choosing your tomatoes.

Now, where will the money appear after you’ve completed the top-up? The money will reflect in your wallet balance. It’s like seeing the total amount in your wallet after buying tomatoes.

When you eventually see the money in your wallet balance, the next step to buy the Dangote Refinery IPO would involve navigating to the section where you can purchase the IPO shares. It’s like deciding which basket of tomatoes to buy from after you have the money.

As a newbie, this guidance is here to help you navigate the process smoothly. Just like Mama Ngozi teaches her little ones how to pick the best tomatoes, you’re learning step by step to make wise financial decisions. Happy investing!
