If you received the January 2026 NIDF distribution but have not received the May 2026 one yet, the issue is usually one of these:
Payment is still processing through banks/registrar
NIDF’s latest distribution payment date was May 6, 2026.
In Nigeria, some investors receive dividends same day, while others receive them 1–3 working days later depending on:
    bank processing speed
    registrar upload timing
    broker/CSCS reconciliation
Your bank details may have a mismatch Since you received January’s payment, your e-dividend mandate is probably active. But problems can still occur if:
    your bank account was changed
name mismatch exists between CSCS and bank account
    BVN issue occurred
    account is dormant/restricted
You may have bought additional units after qualification date For this payment, qualification/record date was around April 28, 2026.
Any units bought after the qualification date would not receive this quarter’s distribution.
Registrar delay NIDF’s registrar is: Coronation Registrars
Sometimes a few accounts fail during bulk payment processing and are reprocessed later.
    Cowrywise
    What you should do now:
Wait till end of today or tomorrow morning first.
Check the exact number of units you held before April 28.
Confirm the bank account linked to your CSCS is active.
    Then contact:
    your stockbroker, or
    the registrar directly.
    You can tell them:
    your full name
    CSCS number
    NIDF holdings
that January distribution was received successfully but May 2026 distribution has not reflected.
