What you’re describing points to two separate issues:
verifying your CSCS number + linkage
    why your trade isn’t executing
    Let’s break it down cleanly.
🔍 1. How to Know Your CSCS Number
Your CSCS (Central Securities Clearing System) number is your unique investor ID in Nigeria.
    Ways to find it:
✅ A. Check your broker app
    Since you mentioned InvestNaija:
    Open InvestNaija
Go to Profile / Account Details
    Look for:
    “CHN” (Clearing House Number)
    Or “CSCS Number”
👉 Format usually looks like: A1234567890
    ✅ B. Check your email/SMS
When your account was created, you should have received:
    “CSCS account created”
    Or “CHN generated”
    Search your email for:
    “CSCS” or “CHN”
✅ C. Ask your stockbroker directly
    If not visible:
    Contact InvestNaija support
Or the registrar linked to your account
🔗 2. How to Confirm Your CSCS is Properly Linked
A CSCS number alone is not enough — it must be linked to your broker account.
    Signs it is properly linked:
You can see your CHN inside the app
You can place buy/sell orders without restriction
    Your portfolio updates after purchase
    ⚠️ Red flag (your situation):
“I can’t trade at this time” / order not moving
    This suggests:
    Linkage may be incomplete OR
    It’s a trading timing / order issue
⏰ 3. Very Important: Trading Time on NGX
The Nigerian Exchange Group does NOT trade all day.
    Official trading window:
    9:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
    👉 But here’s the catch:
Orders close to 2:00–2:30 PM may not execute
Low liquidity stocks may not fill instantly
Some apps stop accepting orders earlier
So 2PM is already late in the session
⚠️ 4. Real Reasons Your Trade Isn’t Going Through
Based on your case, likely causes:
    1. ❌ Market timing issue
    You’re placing orders too late
Or after market has effectively slowed
    2. ❌ No matching seller
This is VERY common in Nigeria:
You placed a price too low
No seller is willing at that price
    👉 Result: Order just “sits”
    3. ❌ CSCS not fully activated
    Even if app says “linked”:
    Backend may still be pending
    KYC not fully approved
    4. ❌ Multiple CHN confusion
You mentioned using multiple apps earlier:
Each broker can generate a different CHN
    This can cause linking conflicts
🧠 5. How to Confirm 100% (Do This Now)
    Step-by-step:
    Open InvestNaija
    Confirm:
    Your CHN is visible
    Try placing order:
    Between 10AM – 12PM (best window)
    Use:
    Market price (not too low)
📩 6. If Problem Persists — Send This Message
    Send to InvestNaija support:
    Message
Hello, I have received a notification that my CSCS account has been linked, but I am unable to execute trades on my account. Orders placed during trading hours are not going through.
    Please confirm:
If my CSCS (CHN) is properly created and linked
If my account is fully approved for trading
If there are any restrictions on my account
My registered details are: [Your Name]
    [Your Email / Phone Number]
    Thank you.
    🔚 Straight Insight
    Don’t assume it’s just CSCS.
From experience, 80% of cases like this are either:
    Wrong order pricing
    Late trading time
    No market liquidity
